Every wine delivery requires an adult 21 or older to be present and show a valid ID to sign for the package. This is required by federal law, and we are not able to waive it.
Who needs to be home
An adult 21 or older must be available at the delivery address to sign and show valid, government-issued photo ID. UPS cannot leave alcohol without an adult signature, so your order cannot be left at the door if no one is available to receive it.
If you will not be home
If no one is available to sign, UPS will make additional delivery attempts before the order is returned to us. To plan ahead, sign up for a free UPS My Choice account, where you can see your delivery window, reschedule your delivery, or redirect your package to a UPS Access Point for pickup with valid ID.
